City of St. Louis’ tallest residential building is coming to the Central West End. A 36-story apartment tower is in development for next year in the CWE and would top out as the city’s largest residential building.
At 385 feet, the building, named One Hundred— is set to be 75 feet taller than the Chase Park Plaza. Still, it will not be the tallest residential building in metro St. Louis, as the 409-foot Plaza in Clayton condo tower remains the tallest. The One Hundred’s developer is Mac Properties of Englewood, N.J. Construction is set to begin within a year and completed by 2019, costing around $130 million.
The residential tower will have a 355-vehicle parking garage, and 40% of the units will be one-bedroom, with another 40% two-bedroom, and the remaining 20% will be divided between studio and three-bedroom units. The design of the development is to allow residents to have wide views of Forest Park to the west and the Arch to the east.
