Biography

Lisa Strait-Hughes is a St. Louis native who has also lived in Virginia, Washington D.C., Maryland, Texas, Denver, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. However, she was happy to return to St. Louis when it was time to raise her children. Her years of relocation have built a strong understanding of the experience and a love of real estate.

Prior to real estate, Lisa graduated from Pattonville High School and went on to study at Missouri State University, where she earned a bachelor's in biology. She began working at Children's Hospital in the virology department and later in HIV Research. Lisa continues to focus on health as a certified Kettlebell instructor and teaches a class year-round in Forest Park.

Lisa currently lives in the Parkview Neighborhood of the central corridor with her four children, three dogs, and husband Brian, who is not a St. Louisian, but after 17 years, it is starting to grow on him.

Lisa has a love of learning and is regularly taking classes in dance, exercise, and adult continuing education. Lisa can be found at the Muny, Art Hill Movie Night, Botanical Gardens, or a St. Louis Cardinal game in her spare time. She often walks over to Forest Park at the spur of the moment to slip into the free seats of the Muny and enjoy a few songs. She is enthusiastic about all things St. Louis and excited to share this with her clients.

Lisa's favorite quote is, "Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does" - William James
